This policy explains what HD Connex LLC ("HD Connex", "we") collects through hdconnex.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers this website only; client projects are governed by their own agreements.
What we collect
- Contact and quote forms: your name, email, and anything else you choose to give us, such as phone, company, the services you are interested in, budget, and your message. We also record which page the form was sent from.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Messages you send us directly by email, phone, or text.
- Usage data: pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected by the analytics tools described below.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address and browser user agent) for security and reliability.
The on-site chat assistant
The chat bubble on this site answers from a fixed set of responses that runs in your browser. Messages you type into it are not sent to or stored on our servers. If you want us to follow up, use the contact form, email, or phone.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver work you engage us for.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for (every email has an unsubscribe link).
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Services that process data for us
- Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
- Supabase — storage of contact-form submissions.
- Resend — email notifications when a form is submitted.
- Google Analytics 4 — site usage statistics (uses cookies; see below).
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-focused usage statistics without cookies.
These providers handle data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.
How long we keep it
Inquiries and project correspondence are kept for as long as needed to respond, deliver work, and keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we will do so unless we need to keep it for a legal or accounting reason.
Your choices
Email heath@hdconnex.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, or to unsubscribe from anything we send. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and its effective date.
